You fire arrows because you hurt. So many have fired at you.
But you don't even realise the ones in your back are your own
This was actually inspired by some nasty anonymous comments I received online
While I have never sent messages like that, I can understand it; As well, personally, while dealing with crippling self-doubt and insecurities, it can make you feel like you want to put other people down, send out arrows of hate, because you feel so low yourself. Like somehow if you are nasty or dismissive of others success it rises you up and takes them down. I've certainly felt like firing some of those arrows, so I can see why someone might. So when I was reading the nasty comments, I realised, I didn't feel upset for me, but for them. This person is probably suffering themselves, and feels bad enough to want to take someone else down. But really, when you do that, you are just taking yourself down.
The world seems full of arrows when you send out arrows. The world seems full of love when you send out love.

Love is an illusion I don't ever want to take a part in again... but I agree that if you send out hate, you will receive it back. We can at least be decent to each other, we're only human, after all.

And so very true...Love brings love..words of hate cause spiritual wounds and pain...once we release arrows of bitterness and anger we can never get them back..i know i have released way too many and my state of mind state of illness at the time..doesnt excuse or change the other person forgiveness for the hurt i can inflict with my mouth...

I feel for people experiencing hate online, but perhaps consider that telling your detractors that they're miserable people might not be the best course of action. That's probably what you've been told, but it is simply not true. The anonymity of the internet makes it so easy to tell anyone anything that completely regular, happy, productive people who are genuinely personable can participate in a bit of anonymous hate. Consider that they wouldnt say anything to your face because you then become a real person, not a profile on the internet. Give them the same courtesy. Remember even the people who leave terrible comments are people. Not sad shells of people who only feel happiness by hurting others. People like that don't really exist as much as you'd think they do. I will admit to occasionally sending the occasional anonymous troll myself. I wouldn't appreciate being told I'm a sad wreck of a person. The idea of this piece is interesting, and certainly thought provoking in a way. But you went about it wrong in my opinion.

Negative:
I think her eyebrows stand out more than they should, they seem very dark and the hardedged. I think they should be a little bit softer to blend with the rest of the picture they don't seem to need to be that hard there's nothing else they match with or are a focal point for the art. There's a mark on her face mark on face near her hair line and ear not sure if that's intentional or not? if it is intentional then i'm not sure what it's meant to be. The hair on shoulder like a big pile of it when i look at this without really staring at it my eyes draw it out line the outline of her shoulder i think a lil more detail on this bit will make it look more like hair as the colour is somewhat similar to her skin. This is maybe more artistic oppinion but maybe having the arrows more randomly spaced would be interesting than evenly spaced?
Positive:
The glow around her is interesting it's like a real glow and it highlights everything well it can be seen as a positive light or intensity of light regarding energy of the person. Everything seems in propotion, well drawn, colour scheme is good.
Summary:
Over all very good always mixing thing sup wiht your different styles you have good idea maybe mixing things up with some randomness (relation to the arrows) could provide more detail or more surprises to people? Some bits might need a lil detail to help the eye identify it straight away but these are minor things my eye picks up0 they don't ruin the piece it's a very good piece the light is the most fascinating and maybe glowly light so far!
Personal Note:
I have another way of looking at this piece that you may want to fire these arrows off yourself but also could it be that you're firing arrows at yourself through acting negatively without vocalising it like you leave yourself open to attack by being distracted by negative thoughts so that you're inenvertibly firing arrows at your own back by not having a defense from others if that makes sense? This was a thought that occured to me while looking at it. As for firing arrows at people i try my hardest not to do this even if tempted to do so i don't tend to but mayeb i have done before subconsciously?

What an inspiration. It's a shame people do terrible things like that to each other. But how awesome you were able to look past the words and see that person's pain. I love the quote that goes with this. It's a wonderful concept. Thank you for sharing.

Aaaaaaaannnnd, this how bad it can really go:
During the Soviet era, during World War Two, one of Stalins' most trusted operatives was a man named V.M. Blokhin. When Soviet troops moved into Poland in opposition to Hitler's Operation Barbarossa, in the Katyn Forest, troops erected a tent, to which Blokhin went, donned a leather butcher's apron and cap to protect his uniform, and had Polish officers led into the tent, where he shot them in the back of the head, one at a time, at point-blank range, with a Walther PPK, two-hundred fifty a night, for twenty-eight days straight, killing 7000 men. This was not his only atrocity, yet he died in bed, an honored citizen of the USSR.
That having beens said, during this era of his depredations on behalf of the Soviet State, he was reported ('Stalin: The Court of the Red Czar', by Simon Sebag Montefiore) to have put his head in his mothers lap, crying, and asking "Momma, what are we doing?".
All told, a clear conscience is one of the best guarantors of peace and happiness as well as both a powerful shield and solace. You are wise to know this.

Now that I remember this, if you or a friend have Netflix, see the British anthology series, 'Black Mirror': Season three, episode six, 'Hated in the Nation', about precisely the phenomenon you're describing. Horrific and clever, you'll never look at honeybees quite the same way again. I think you'll enjoy it...
