Description The #B-Lovers fairy tale contest got extended to today, so I figured I'd get off my lazy stressed-out butt and draw something. Nothing like classic Disney movies and yaoi to make you forget about all those stresses.... Yes, I forgot to draw the rest of Rei's hair XDD

So clearly this is a corruption of The Little Mermaid, featuring Rei and Kai. It's really weird the way that my drawing style changes if I don't draw for a while. I can see the art style I'm unintentionally channeling in this one, too... if I think of the artist, I'll let you know.

I really like the color style. What do you think? It was kinda unintentional, but I liked the pink so much I didn't want to cover it up with normal coloring. Unfortunately, and predictably, the scanner ate a lot of the soft colors

Although... this is a problem. One of the contest rules was that you couldn't use the same fairy tale as another participant, and... I already submitted mine, which is also based off "Little Mermaid". ._. meep.

actually, luckily, there is no such rule. Look:

RULES:
1. Must include Canon BB Character(s). Could possibly include Metal fusion Characters.
OC's possibly allowed as long as there are actual Beyblade characters
2. Stick to the theme. Winners will be picked by your peers, and I personally would pick the most creative with the theme, not the best drawn or best written.
3.Please specify what Fairy tale you are corrupt-eh... using.
4. Entries can be: Drawn, written, comic form, etc.
5. When done with your entry submit to group in the Contest entry folder or featured if you can't submit to the contest folder. I will move all entries to the contest folder.
If you are not a member of the group and you want to participate.. Join the group! or Note the group with your entry.
6. Winners will be voted on by group members, via notes. More private.

Oh. Phew. Well, guess the rules changed; I know the last time I checked rules, there was something about not using the same fairy tale. It's what I worried about while working on my own entry, so I was always checking back with the group if anyone had used "The Little Mermaid".

it would be difficult to keep track of, considering it does take some time to create a piece - I'm sure keeping it could upset more than one person.

I adore the coloring! So Lovely, and I don't know I can see Rei's hair, it's tied in its wrap laying behind him on the sand! I LOVE the tail!
