Really like the pose and the look of the ongoing attack, only thing i dont like are the teeth on the creature. They look rather cartoony and kinda out of place. Kudos on the DD.

Nice picture! At first the creature really reminded me of the Birrin that Abiogenisis draws and/or created. (I can't remember right off the top of my head, but I think they are his original creation. regardless his work is a treat, and even more so if you like world building stuff.) only much more savage.

The way you applied the texture on the beast's legΒ is a bit lame you barely played with anything but opacity, and the white light reflections on the head of the beast looks really cheap as well and the lens flare is a bit random, the background with the rocks don't blend with the foggy surrounding or the illustration in generalΒ neither does the lighting on the rocks + it's not hand painted so a it's more a mattepainting than a painting.
Not being hating but the DD is a bit overrated over such a regular piece of art. I've seen way better but alright.
