I don't complain about other people's grammar all the time. Just on occasion and if they deserve it.

What really gets me is when they dont try to make it legeble or even sensible in courtesy of people around them. Now, if it's a forigner, or if their keyboard doesnt like them, or if they have a special disability that makes spelling and grammar more difficult (ie- dyslexia), or they're just having some trouble with it but still trying, then I'm fine and I'll just try and correct them in places. When it's diliberate or they just dont care (or even more horrifyingly, use

And Im a person who understood every thing you said. If there are typos grammar or bad spelling in there I didnt notice it at all.
Maybe because Im not caring about how you have spelt something etc. Im caring about what it is you are saying.
Which I think is pretty much what the ST is trying to get across.
Than people need to stop complaining about how the secret had been done, but comment about the secret its self

The ST is probably furious with a lot of repliers, but I agree... isnt the purpose of the DAS to tell things that need to be said in a creative way and offer SUPPORT for them? Whether it's a secret about suicide, love or just annoyance with someone's grammar, it's just a bit annoying that so many people completely missed the point... and decided to comment on something that wasnt actually a typo and then bash the people who made the mistake >.>;

I just have to say... I don't really mind typos OR misspellings. I type the way I talk. So if I type mah or meh or ish or dun. It's because that's how I actually pronounce them in real life.
I dun get why people are so big about grammar and spellings tho...it seems so frivolous.

What would happen if we applied this same theory to say, math.
I'd be pretty pissed if someone gave me the wrong change at the register because "that's how they do math", or because "I'm not at school."
The point of school is to ready people for life. To go out into life and not use what you've been taught is quite bassackwards.

In context that makes sense, it'd be that people shouldn't be hypocritical. They shouldn't point out flaws in other people when they themselves do the same thing.

It fits it perfectly
The secret is saying a lot of people are complaining about people spelling things wrong or typos, grammar etc.
Yet a lot of them type things like
"i don't agree with you. i could spell better when i was a baby. go back to school"
it should be
"I don't agree with you. I could spell better when I was a baby. Go back to school"
So you can see the people bitching about it all arnt using cap letters after a full stop and when say I. they are saying i when it should be an I .
So these people complining should shutup because they are just as bad just on a different level.
So the glass house quote is saying.
the people complaining are in the same glass house as the people making typos etc.
So because they are in the same house if they throw stones all they are gunna do is brake the walls around themselves. So they are best to shutup.

I'll try my best to explain it.
Basically, if you're in a glass house, why would you throw a stone? It would break the window glass, and you'd be without a house. Following me so far?
Now, applying that to this secret. Basically, the ST is saying that the people who bitch about improper grammar should just be quiet, because they do the same thing. They're throwing stones in glass houses, and it's hypocritical.

To throw a stone is to judge someone. Being in a glass house, if someone threw a stone at you, the house would break or crack or whatever; living in the glass house represents you being similar to the person you're judging.
In this case, people with poor spelling/grammar should not critique or judge someone else for spelling/grammar errors. Does that make sense?

I don't think wanting things to be spelled correctly is so awful. I avoid saying anything about it on secrets because of the very nature of it and because I'm not the best speller I can ignore a few mistakes but if something takes more effort than it should to read then I'm likely to call the person on it but that's usually more in the forums than anywhere else.
For the record, I always capitalize I when it's needed to be unless I make a typo or I am being lazy in an instant message so I'm not really a hypocrite.

People who solely comment on a secret to rip into someone for misspelling is stupid and heartless.
Who wants to be sweating about whether their spelling is going to be ripped into, when they're putting something they've kept a secret for however long, out into the open?
I agree that misspellings are irritating, and I've likely mentioned it on someone's secret, but never as my reason for commenting. If your soul reason for commenting on a secret is to laugh at or attack someone for misspelling?
