Hum... I don't think that being revolted against discrimination makes them whiny baby. Emo are not necessarily asking for attention, they usually have real problems and deal with them in that way, they don't do that just for attention. I think that secret was for people who have been horrible to the ST or people they know.
I just don't think it's fair to judge them that harsh.

Shouldn't this sort of thing kinda be weeded out, I mean it just means readers have to put up with it landing in their inbox =/ Maybe ST 8913 shouldn't have posted this secret if they knew the person it was aimed at might see it, and ST 8931 should be mature and take it on the chin...

I think what ST 8913 meant was that emotions are hard to control, and they more strongly affect some than others, and those others are (as) inconsiderate (as some of those with tougher hormones).

Anyone else find it amusing that 8913 and 8931 just have the last 2 numbers swapped?
I have no opinion on either of these. I agree that posting what would normally be a comment as a secret is kinda lame, but I also agree this secret can be true but ONLY if it's in context with the other one. If the "emo" one was aimed at someone in particular, then this secret is sort of null and void. We'll never know.
Also, how in the WORLD did a secret and its response manage to be only 18 secrets and a handful of days apart?

I /sort of/ agree with this, but at the same time not. ST 8913 is probably feeling really crap if they've read this, and I get how they feel about those people who say "oh my life sucks" when it clearly doesn't. And emos /aren't/ stupid whiney babies who cant deal with their emotions.

I don't really mind the feeling-venting part of their secret, but... they were definitely one of those emos, if you get my drift. The "I hate all preps, and they never have any real problems, only I and other emos have them! Ever!" ones.
I would probably defend them if they didn't generalize others so bad while complaining that the other person was stereotyping them or whatsit.
Something tells me a little non-physical "smack," some stinging reason, would help them come to their senses a little.

The reason I have to agree with this secret, although I realize it's probably unecessary evil, is because I have a problem with supposingly called emos (it's a personal thing), and judging by the secret that was sent (secret 8913), I can tell what kind of "emo" sent it. The black and grey toning in the background and the red lettering, the anime-like drawing (in a somwhat early stage, if you get my drift) and especially the bloody tears, and even the choice of words just pretty much shows what kind of "emo" sent that secret, and I have to tell it's the kind that makes me agree with this ST. I'm sorry if I ofended anyone who happens to be an "emo" but doesn't really fit into the stereotype, but fuck if that isn't life, for one person's mistake, we all have to pay for it, and to the ST 8913, your pain isn't any bigger than everyone elses, and you're not a special snowflake. Sorry..

Let's go back to kindergarten where we were taught a simple lesson:
Everyone is different... No one is created equal.
As in, people deal with their own shit in different ways. Some have to vent or "whine" about it.
Yeah, sometimes it can get annoying but that's why you just ignore it, not strike out against it and make the situation worse.
If you're tired of people whining, then don't say such rude things that will cause them to be MORE upset.
