My last relationship was so abusive. My ex always threatened me to hurt herself, even kill herself if I left her or didn't do something she said.

I loved them but it was destroying me. I was so anxious and depressed all the time, I even had panic attacks.

Everytime I saw a note in my inbox I felt my heart sink.

Keep it strong! Don't let anyone have that power over you.

this kind of happened to me, we broke up about six times too many. and I honestly believed him xD Because It used to only be about drugs. Hm. Second chances can be good.. just make sure he has good intentions.

Talk to this person. Maybe things have changed. Usually, in relationships, communication makes a huge difference, so tell them exactly how you feel and why. If they're worth your time at all, they will understand, and work on it. If not, hell, you're better than them, and deserve better.

The only advice I can give is to do what your heart tells you. Maybe give it a bit of time and then afterward if you still don't want them then end it. You can't do anything about not wanting them. It's hard to open up again once you've been hurt (I've been on the giving and receiving end of this).

You can't help how you feel and you shouldn't feel bad that you feel that way. Things got messed up and they hurt you. In whatever you decide be strong.

I had something similar happen. It came from no where and I'm amazed I didn't do anything stupid that I would regret. But... call me stupid, but he has my heart with him yet again.
It really depends on the person, and you, whether you trust them again. Are they the type to do it again? Or do you think they honest-to-God love you? Either way, some good will come of it, even if you don't see it. Just stick in there if you feel it's right.

Same here.
After breaking my heart - again - thorugh a text, I cannot help but feel this horrible, acing pain where the heart is supposed to be everytime this person texts me. My blood starts rushing around and I sweat like a pig. I am so scared that it'll be another heart-breaking-text and that my little, now fraiglie world will come crashing down over me again.

The person who broke it is now my friend again. A friend who tells me that it was a misstake, that we should try to start over. I'll stay, just as you say you'll do.
But I cannot either trust the person with my heart...
