First out of six character designs for my fanmade GS4. It only seems natural for the silent protagonist in the next game to be Felix's son.This was a lot of fun to make, but it took foreverrr. And I opted out on editing a sprite because I felt like I was already putting way too much effort into this.
Anyway, the written part of my fanmade GS4, including character profiles, djinn info, a list of utility psynergy, and the sequence of events, is now complete. I'd love to share my ideas with you all, but I'm not sure how I should go about posting them. The text is currently saved as a Word document, and I'm reluctant to upload it directly to dA because it has quite a few icons, italics, bolded words, and colors. So, I'm open to suggestions.
Sketched on paper, colored using OpenCanvas 1.1 with a mouse, edited using Jasc PSP with a mouse. 8 hours.
Golden Sun and all of its contents belong to Camelot Software Planning/Nintendo. Samuel belongs to me. >:]

The main thing that bugs me about this is that shirt.. I don't think Felix will have his son wear something revealing his shoulders like that. It's a small nitpick, but it just seems very impractical. (Even Amiti, aka the shirtless man, didn't wear a shirt like that)
Otherwise, it's an interesting design.

I really like the design and that you added an icon for him, too. I can imagine that this took really long but I think it turned out so well, that it was worth the effort.

Thanks! You definitely should create some Golden Sun OCs. It's a lot of fun because there are so many possibilities for characters, considering the great diversity of beings that exist on Weyard (Adepts, Lycanthropes, Beastmen, Welda, etc.) Hopefully my own designs can inspire you? :s

Ooo! Very nice! Hands and arms need to be a tad bigger though. Other than that it looks great. ^_^ I'd like to see more!
I HATED the fact that Felix wasn't in Dark Dawn! He just disappeared with no trace. And Piers! OMG. That made me mad that he wasn't there either. He was my fav!

Yeah, I realize the proportions are a bit whacky. I was mainly aiming to get a nice, clean sketch so that the entire design could be seen clearly. The next character is pretty bad too, but then they get better. Somewhat.
I was bummed about the lack of old playable characters in Dark Dawn as well. One of the main features in my fanmade GS4 is that you get to visit all of them!
