While he's more of the overarching JoFoe of Diamond is Unbreakable by narrative function rather than by choice, Yoshikage caught on due to a simple concept; sometimes, the worst monsters in humanity are hidden in plain sight for all to see.
His biggest flaw as an antagonist ? When he's not fighting Josuke and pals, he's waaay too charming and easy to root for ! I mean if it were not for Reimi's murder, I don't think I could've given half a damn about the people he blew up on page/screen. I mean, what ? Shigechi ? Dude, I fucking felt sorry for Dire. And Dire was only there for his "thunder cross split attack" and spitting a rose in Dio's eye and I felt bad for him. And YET, I could not give a rat's ass about Shigechi cus all I could think of is how cool Kira's Sephiroth/Albert Wesker voice is (I imagined him sounding like Jeff Goldblum to be frank...) and how practical it would be for me to have a stand such as Killer Queen. Maybe then, my dream of having a throne made of skulls would be finally realized...
