Behind The Photograph:
Taken a while back, also manipulated back then too. Where this shot was taken, is a huge collection of gypsy ponies. Most, if not all, the mares are in foal AGAIN this year with a foal at foot too. They have little to no food available - and a water trough that is about 1/2 a foot deep in algae, they are kept behind a barbed wire fence (which when I was younger was a definate no no! Course that may have changed!) The entire field is full to the brim with ragwort and I even saw some of the foals (who are only a few weeks old and should still be suckling) chewing on the evergreen branches that their mothers pulled off the trees in an attempt at nutrients!
It's a disgrace, and I've reported it about four times now, even to go as far as taking photos and sending them into the RSPCA. Nothing has been done yet (I'm not holding my breath! ¬_¬ )
But I designed this as a ' plea for help' kind of photograph. If you had the chance to see what I saw, then you would understand why I chose the song I did and the reason for the VERY black photography/photo-editing. *nod*
