Description I did this some time back. I suddenly find today its got many downloads, so I thot maybe I will put it up here too.

It was posted on WM some time back

U can find the usual awesome-defrosted-Readme.txt in the zip file u download. But for those who are lazy enough to notice that its only 90kb download, here is the readme

==========================================
What it does ??
---------------

Just lists all files, subfolders etc. in the form of a menu. U can control the
transparency, the starting folder, and the preview options. Default starting folder is
the folder from which it is launched.

Previews
--------

Just add this commandline to the shortcut u make to PopCon.exe

"-dothumbnailsontooltip"

This will show the preview images of some types of files like wmv, avi, mpg, jpg, png, gif, bmp, etc.

Transparency
------------

Add this commandline

"-transparent X"

Where, X is an integer between 0 to 99

Custom Start Folder
-------------------

Ok so u want to store the exe in one place and launch another folder's menu, no problem,
add this to the shortcut's commandline

"-startdirectory X:\YYY"

where X=> drive name and YYY=> the folder for which the menu will be shown.

All of this commandlines can be added one after the other to have a cumulative effect.

Hey mate, I really really like this because all the other popup apps I've used have been buggy or not looked good. This is perfect ...except for one thing.

How come it doesn't sort the files alphabetically. Is there any way to do that?

Thanks for the hard work!

There is the "target" field. Just add the commandline like this

x:\popcon.exe -dothumbnailsontooltip

,where "x:\" is the folder where popcon is.

U create a shortcut to the exe, then u go into the shortcut's properties and u will be able to do it out there. Tell me if u cant....
