“May the odds be ever in your favour”-Effie Trinket, The Hunger Games
I think this is the first time I've finished 2 paintings within the same weekend. That’s how much I’m trying to avoid doing work.
I wanted this to be a speedie, but I really underestimated how hard the combination of curly hair and elaborate accessories would be to paint. Took around 5 hours i think. but painting pink is so fun I love it. Kept thinking how paintable she was as I watched the movie, and now it’s done.

Stunning! The detail in the face is amazing, especially in the eyes and lips. I'm impressed with how you managed to capture the gold shimmer of her magenta lipstick.
I'm guessing that you chose to keep the detail of the hair and jacket minimal so that the focus remained on her face. And even if it was just because you liked it that way, I like it.
Personally, I think I would have liked if her pink lashes were a little more visible, but that's just me.
