I couldn't title something if my life depended on it.I took a look at that 20-minute Digimon Adventure film/short/prequel thing and I'm still blown away by the wonderful colors and animation (I was trying to riff on the cover here). Some great Mamoru Hosoda, and I like that it had a fun kaiju feel to it. Also, a great excuse for me to chill and draw some squishy kids!

What adorable little children! I love the bright colors and the menacing shadow creeping over them--that's a really cool effect! Hmm, I might have to check out this movie...

I decided to check out Digimon very late in the game and managed to find a subbed version of this pilot/prequel thing, it really is a fun little watch. English-dub versions abound, but I can't imagine they've made any worthwhile contributions they're terrible.

You're welcome! I've been doing a lot of that lately with cartoons that got cancelled after their first season (I found out about Motor City from a friend and I've been binging it all month).
Lol! It's pretty bad when they have an A-list cast for the dubbed versions, but then they don't do a good job with the kids and they sound all squeaky! My sister found this really funny dubbed series where originally it was supposed to be a horror genre, but when they dubbed it in English they let the actors do whatever they wanted so it turned out to be really goofy. I watched a few minutes and was wheezing--I need to find out what it's called so I can watch more!

I think the one your talking about is called Ghost Stories or something. I haven't watched any of it except some clip about a rabbit and the ending almost floored me.

I remember when this show was on Fox Kids. I hardly watched it but I recall the stuff that happened within the old shows. They had a pretty dark and serious spin on things unlike its friendly competition.
