alot of times life can be nothing but a blur.too much. too fast.
you need something to focus on. to grab onto.
truth? hope? love?
these are just words that more times than not means absolutely nothing.
you need something real.
something to hold.
even if it doesn’t hold you back.

I love this, it reminds me of the blackeyed susans in my back yard. . . they are this common nuisance of a flower but they bring light to every day for me. Just by being there.

the combination of the realistic flower in the front, and the blurred ones in the background came out great. It really puts your attention on the front flower, I think thats a part of the photograph that looks even better in your painting. I love the way you blurred the colors together, and I just adore those textures. Beautiful words to go along with it as well

From what you wrote and what I see - it sounds like something similar to what I was striving for in my Windows Suite series...about remembering something that you shared once with someone special...maybe long ago and all you have left now is the memory of what was.

LOVE the intense details amongst a sea of blurred color. And I do love that sea of blurred color, it is beautiful in and of itself but even better it is the perfect compliment to the black-eyed susan (?). It's just very pretty

This is completley beautiful. I love the composition with the flower in the corner and the other flowers in a circle behind that, even if they're going off in the distance a little, they bring the eye back to the original flower. I like how even though the focus is on the one flower, you still used bright colors in the background and differentiated between the original flower and the others with the blurriness factor. The focus flower is of beautiful simplicity and the splatters in the background really make more emphasis on it overall. I looove it. Very nice.
