You're description of the picture seemed to strike a chord with me. It pretty much describes how I've felt for the past few years to the letter. The instance that I saw the picture in your gallery, I knew... something. Like it was familiar, even though I'd never seen it before, but not déjà vu. More like nostalgia. You really have a talent for capturing certain feelings and states and expressing them perfectly.

Very nice illustration. As an adult there is something about this which is a bit funny (but creepy creatures with a touch of comedy are often even creepier to me), but for a little kid I think this train will cause nightmares; I like that.
This reminds me a bit of the train in the game Oddworld: Abe's Exodus.

i love the drool on the teeth! it reminds me of the mechanical lubricant used on the androids in the Alien movies
the detail in this is truly original like a Rob Zombie cover haha love the 'More Machine Than Machine' title, i am guessing your intent was to parody the 'More Human Than Human' Rob White Zombie track
this is incredibly cool dark and unique!
and about the poetic piece after the image, i really like the wording used and wish there was more but at the same time feel the shortness of the piece is the goal and perfection of the piece!
i wish i could do this kind of medium, the only art i'm good at is Writing, but this right here is incredible!

I'm sure that, by now, everyone's said everything I'm going to say already...but I'm going to say it anyways because I really love this piece.
Great concept here, I really like the title and your description of the piece...it really brings the concept and the drawing together and is very thought provoking. My favorite part of it is the personification of the train engine, rushing forward in all its insane rage and fury, unable to control itself while spewing out smoke and ash all around. Frightening.

this is quite unique. it has that 'messy' kindof crazy feel to it, but still retains all the wonderful detail.
you managed to blend feeling, grainy, exspressive with detail and composition. amazing job
and that's just the image. the concept is even better!
