Description
This is the artwork for the lithograph of Psylocke from the X-Men that goes along with the Sideshow Collectibles statue that I designed and was sculpted by the amazing Adam Ross. You can see the statue here: [link]I like some elements of the litho but it is far and away from how I envisioned it. Oh well, better luck next time. Pencil and ink on bristol board and colored in photoshop.

Aside from the fact that she HAS to be cold, this is a beautiful piece. I feel a melancholic and somber mood from her in this. I absolutely love how you affected the emotion and tone of the piece. One of the more calm works with Psy in it but definitely at the top of my favorite list. Love the hue of purple used for the hair and lipstick. Favorite thing about the picture is the freakin katana; it's almost as beautifully designed as Psylocke! This pic is definitely joygasmtasic.

I'm not a huge fan of Psylocke, mostly because of the most people depict her (too much cleavage & skin, etc.), but this is by far my favoirte Psylocke picture! And seriously, thank you for not only a great piece of art, of a decent picture of psylocke.

I hereby admit I've never heard of Psylocke in spite of professing to love X-Men. However, this is one hell of an introduction. I like her. She looks like she could kill stuff. (With other lady superheroes I'm not convinced.)
