I was perusing through my sister's (=nutmeg-42 ) favourites, and this really "jumped out" at me, so I had to take a closer look...
This is so BEAUTIFUL.... so crisp (sorry, "sharp" as dear sis usually corrects me

cool shot. I really like the contrast overall. however, I think the rocks in the foreground should be just a little bit darker to bring out the detail better.

The posts make for a great leading line into the water. There is so much detail here - from the texture of the beach stones to the weathered surfaces of the posts themselves. What I really like though is the contrast between foreground light and background darkness where those clouds are rolling across the sky.

Nice light.. good treatment of the shadows and I like the way the shot is split in two with the texture below and the smooth above.. could'nt be visa versa heheh!

the photo is really excellent... but i'm not sure about the colour of the frame. did you try it white or black before choosing the grey one?
