I've been working on this on and off for the past week. I wanted to create something different from my usual landscape sci-fi art. I made the asteroids and planet in 3d studio max and edited them in photoshop. I think it turned out great, past my expectations. I hope you like it as much as I do, it's my new wallpaper.Please give me any input such as comments or +fav, I worked really hard on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
**EDIT** Fixed the black line around the planet.

I actually like this one better than the Besiege 2, maybe because i prefer more realistic/digital look, i dont know, but this is very well done, you should be proud!

... I can't make anything with 3DSmax! I only know how to handle maya unlimited... Although it's a great program too.

Quite apocalyptic mood! Lighting on the several bodies is very well done. Wonderful distribution and dynamic feeling. Choice of the star glow worked fantastically well.
Only an insignificant detail i should point out: one of the smaller asteroid cloned in several places looks oddly too similar, specially the twin like pair near the bright ray of light on the right of the star.
This is an awesome piece of art, congratulations!

great job....masterpiece Some thigs that you should maybe work on is istead of making the small rocks ALL black....try just fading them...so you can see some of the color in the shadow, if you know what i mean?
