Description
Had a number of new drawings I scanned that I have to color, and this turned out to be the first one done.Marina continues to look upon Silver's scars that are leading her to his back. There, she'll see even more from before he had become a cyborg. He, on the other hand, just watches her as she walks around him with his heart pounding.
Gah, the shading in this was a pain but only second when cam to doing the background. I did it separately to get the perspective right and add detail in the wood. (as of now, I hate wood grain, but if it details to put into backgrounds, I'll try harder)

Silverβs robotic eye looks flat. Maybe add some shading to it. In addition, Marina's gown is too bright compared to every thing else.

Given the dim light in the picture, Marina's blue night gown is way WAY too bright. also, the shadow on her arm is strange. You have no consistency to your shadows. They seem to get darker and lighter and random without any kind of relationship to any kind of light source.
Also, Marina's angle is very, very strange. She looks like she's falling and grabbing onto him as she teeters sideways.
The "scar" area looks more like a piece of paper that got wet and smeared and washed out the ink rather than anything like a defined scar.
Yeah, this is not your best rendition of this scene, but at least Marina isn't in a tiny Victoria's Secret slutty little nighty.

P.S. Why does her part go all the way down the back of her head? Parts don't go past the crown there about. That's very strange looking.

well I'm going to finish my toad fanfic and maybe try to get a few drawings up since I so rusty it's pitiful. Then I need to find the story. I had most of the next page written out.....grrrrrr filing cabnits are EVIL!!!

Interesting drawing, but the scars dont look as realistic as they could. They look like a strange assortment of wrinkles. It's not bad though, you're improving.

I looked at a photo of a man with similar scars like Silver's along with same height and weight. His scars were wrinkled like so because of the chunks of skin he lost and the bits the doctors had to cut out because of the burns.

This is just touching moment for Marina seeing and touching his past by looking upon his scars soon bringing a tear to her eyes

I think you should use more soft colors in your work, it makes the picture have more feeling, sadly for me, with the coloring you're using I feel nothing. Sadly I know. :/

No. He's completely entranced by feel of her touching him like this. ^^ But seeing her look so sad and sorry is something he doesn't want. He hates to see her like that

Oh,that is good to know. cos it reminded me of when i once got sunburnt all over my back, i could not sleep on my back then, and it was really no good feeling XD

Well, I once heard that 3rd degree burns don't hurt because the nerves are dead. I don't know about that really and I'd rather not find out myself. But I'm not sure of what the scars are like afterward. I hear that they can feel, but differently than regular skin can. Maybe it's like what it feels like when your hand falls asleep. YOu touch that hand. The sleeping hand can feel it, but barely.

The burn itself doesn't hurt no, but the area around the burn is in excruciating pain. I had a cousin who got a 3rd degree burn on his back..
