I am so nervous lately about whether or not my pictures look like characters
Okay, so I'm always nervous about it... but I swear lately I go to put them up and then I'm like "No! Give it back! I'll do better! I swear!" Eexxxeeepppt if I never give them anything, that can't possibly be better *laughs*Okay, so, hopefully this looks at least a bit like ~ravekitten 's character Dain Winter, because I owe her a picture of him for a wishlist trade aaaand this is supposed to be it *crosses fingers* Katherine, if there's something really off that I can fix without redoing the picture then let me know and I'll try to adjust it on the original, at least, if not the upload

Auuuuuugh it's gorgeous! You just totally showed me up on the wishlist-trades-for-Kat front. *weeps softly into sleeves* But that's okay, because this is so awesome I can't be irate. Plus it makes me work harder. lol But in any case. Wow! I love how real his face looks, he is damn sexay, and his relaxed pose is friendly and approachable and natural. Gorgeous work on his shirt, love the folds in everything, great touches with the background, and I didn't notice the owl on his sash till I read Kat's comment. It's pretty!!! Lovely pic all-around. Must-fave.

I have to say I absolutely LOVE his shirt.... The folds on it are gorgeous... and the texture on the vest... and the wood of the railing and...and of course the hands and.... just the whole pic is awesome.

DUUUUDE! Shoo, paranoia, SHOO! This SO looks like the Dain! (or at least, certainly how I pictured him based on Kat's story and the pics she's showed me!) What a wonderful character illustration. Squee! I love the casual pose, the folds in the cloth, his hands

This one looks amazing, the folds are just.... @_@. There are just so many of them and they look beautiful. Particularly on that vest, which is also beautifully shiney. And again with the awesome hands. Nice work as always, so don't fret hon!

Well, first off, it totally DOES look like him!!!! Ahh you so kick arse at characterization!!!!!
I swear, that's freaking AMAZING!!!
Ok, I LOVE his outfit, you really make it come to life after it's been stuck in my head for SUCH a long time!!!!!
The ship and sea as the background are incredibly spiffy, and it actually really goes with his character!!!
And no, I wouldn't change anything about this picture for the world!!!!!
