I've adored this picture for like..ever...but Im using it as a ref (hope you don't mind) and I just noticed how low his ears are on his head...that gives him like...vitani ears or something...sorry, I just noticed it.

This couple is very cute! Love that there is an age differents, pretty unique in a couple.
Heh, reminds me of my own parents. Not a huge age difference, when they met my dad was 15, my mom 17 and my dad lied about his age because he was afraid my mum wouldn't like him then XD

I love your designs for them! They aren't just clones with slightly different colors, but unique characters

Let me just say, "Wow!" I adore your Lion King art. Your style is wonderful, very much like Disney's.
I really like your portrayal of Uru and Ahadi. Uru is very beautiful as a cub and a grown adult. The way you drew her expression is here is great. It tugs at my emotions, I really feel what she's feeling.
I really enjoy your portrayal of Ahadi as well. His scruffy mane reminds me of Simba's in its messy-ness and of course, Scar's in color. I like that you can see the features he will pass down to his descendants, but that he still retains his own look. Thank you for spending so much time on your character design!

Is Ahadi's mane black or red cause in some pics its black. In other's(like this one) red.

I really love this. 
If you can, you should make a story for your versions of Ahadi and Uru. And not like a short one either, but a multi-chaptered, maybe. It's your choice of course, but I just think it'd be really cool if you ever decided to do that.

What I love the most about your TLK artwork is that the characters you create are so well defined. I would never mistake these two for any character in the movies. So many people just slap some different colors on established character designs, but you put a lot of thought into the details that really bring together a complex and interesting set of individuals who don't have all of the same traits. Love it!

They aren't a big age difference. Ahadi is only one season older than her. He's adolescent, shes a cub. Lions mate with other lions years apart, and they aren't a couple yet at this age anyways.

Wow this is beautiful. I've always rather enjoyed this unseen TLK couple, ^-^. I especially like your designe for Ahadi. To many artists draw him as Mufasa's twin, but I think he looks more along the line of your designe.
I don't know why but I've always loved Uru's and Ahadi's pelt colors
