Lovely as usual, Dave, I like how you've taken it to a different scale than usual- at least that's how I perceive it. I usually think of your characters to be roughly human sized, but the clouds change the context for me.

aye i suppose thats one way to look at it Paul. I honestly never gave any thought to the scale. but i think yer right about the clouds upsizing things. without the clouds it was basically a nebulous skull-face in the shadows, and human nature being what it is made that human sized.

Yes, I think that's it- with no context I assume the skull is human sized. But, the clouds take my imagination elsewhere, it now feels like some god or enormous spirit of some sort.
