"You're not from a book. But I don't care..."First, this is my ponification, okay, I'll stop. This is my rendition of Flash Sentry, who apparently is something to Twilight in that movie. His mane is adapted from his human look and I think the little tips of mane that go over his head and neck are rather something. I tweaked the two from their appearance in my commentary cartoon this morning.
Then, this damn ship. Look, I'm glad Twilight has found a canonical albeit never-will-it-go-pass-the-movie love interest, but it feels wrong! THEY'RE MAKING THOSE DAMNED EYES. You can't ask him to LEAVE!

Me too! I'm ignoring the whole 'he was a human when they met' thing, but she wasn't attracted to him in the sort-of-human world, so much as liked him as a friend, a charming friend. Only when she saw his pony counterpart did she develop feels for him.
But who can blame her? He is ADORABLE!

I hope the show doesn't go too far with this. The original intention of the show was to break free of the molds of little girl shows. However, it seems more and more that the show is backtracking. Giving Twilight a love interest is clique. The movie was bad enough, but this...please don't ruin it Hasbro.

I was THRILLED when I saw Flash Sentry on the show. Even if he never appears in another episode/movie again, I have wished for a longtime that they would give Twilight a potential love interest in the series, and now that they have, I am completely satisfied. Plus, it means I won't have to make an OC to pair her with.

No, trust me, Flash Sentry WILL be in Season 4, cause he plays a key factor in Twilight's story! There'll probably be some episodes of them together, on a date, hanging out, damsel in distress, the whole thing! In fact, I'm fairly certain that either in this year's season or the next, they WILL get married like Shining Armor and Cadance did!
