Description
A portrait I did of Scott for his solo project. We've played in a band together for the last 13 years and he writes his own material which you can check out on scottmaher.com if you're interested.Reduced the saturation and screwed about with the depth of field a little.
I'm not too experienced with portraiture so any comments and/or suggestions from real photographers would be great.

i think it's just perfect.. a lot of people say that it's inapropriate to cut the chin or the top of the head off, but in your case it's exactly what works for you!
plust the focus is amazing, you can see very single hair !

When I look at a portrait and it feels like the person is staring at me, and I feel like I can understand what they were feeling when this picture was being taken; when personality is captured along with the shot... I have to say it's a work of art.
