Remember when I said I wasn’t doing any more of these?

I lied.

What are you gonna do, punish me in the name of the moon?

She is the one that started it all: Sailor V herself. Were it not for this character, the magical girl series would not be as well known as it is today, the Sailor Moon series would never have existed, and no one would know who Naoko Takeuchi is, beautiful girls would have to cosplay as something else (not that we’d complain), and I wouldn’t have a series to work on that spanned four months. Nor would I have gotten practice drawing beautiful girls in the past.

So yeah, as influential as Sailor V is, a manipulation of her was inevitable. And why not have the Sailor that started it all end this series? How about that, V is for victory!

She was the first Sailor Senshi to have her powers awakened, and at the young age of 13. I guess things like that happen when you meet a talking cat who says you’re a part of a superhero fighting force, who are stronger and more beautiful than anyone else. I can certainly vouch for that last one! I’ve stated the girls in the series are beautiful. She battles the Dark Agency, led by Danburite, and her skills got the attention of the local police force. Not to mention she develops romantic feelings for several boys. At the end of her journey, she decides her duty is more important than romance, and joins the other Sailor Senshi, becoming the one and only Sailor Venus.

For someone as influential as Sailor V, there are very few cosplays of her. I used to give the Outer Senshi, the Starlights, and Chibi Moon flak for having so few cosplays, but Sailor V tops them all! To make matter worse, some of them aren’t full-body photos, and others don’t have the iconic face mask. Ugh! Lucky for me though, I found a select few (emphasis on few) beautiful cosplayers for this picture, and the one I chose was . I remembered I wanted the other Sailor Senshi in Japan, but the idea was scrapped. There was no way I could fit 13 girls in this little scene, even with Photoshop, so I reused this picture to include only Sailor V. I originally had her on the bottom step, but suddenly had an idea: Add the logo from the manga to the scene, and give it sidewalk chalk texture like before. I had to make slight edits to the logo, but that was okay. Sailor V was then moved to the upper step, that way she wouldn’t cover the logo.

By the way, I don’t know exactly where in Japan this photo was taken. I don’t think it matters that much to me. At least it’s in a place that’s away from the big city. I changed the sky to make it look less cloudy, like I did for Sailor Venus.

Now I can say with great satisfaction that this series of Sailor Moon cosplay manipulations has come to a close. I would like to give a very special thanks to all the cosplayers who gave me their permission to use their beautiful pictures for each character, and all the amazing stock photos I’ve used for every scene. And finally, a special thanks to Naoko Takeuchi, for creating the series. I herby dedicate this entire series to you.

What I will make in the future remains to be seen. They won’t be Sailor Moon characters, that’s for sure!
