Sailor Jupiter is the fourth Sailor Senshi to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the "muscles" of the group. She possesses powers associated with electricity and plants, and physical strength. Also, she is quite “talented,” if you know what I mean. *nudge nudge, wink wink*

I’m not explaining the joke. Look it up.

She’s tall, tough, intimidating, “talented” (Okay, this joke has run its course), but actually gentle, as long as you don’t make her mad. I’ve known her to go crazy on her enemies immediately after donating blood! She also wears her hair in a ponytail and has pretty rose shaped earrings. This hints at her nature related abilities, but I’m more familiar with her lightning attacks, which she uses more often. Her real name is Lita, which is based on the word lightning.

The model for this cosplay is the awesome , who does the best Sailor Jupiter cosplay I’ve seen! She’s posted so many pictures of Sailor Jupiter that it was hard to choose a good picture to use for a manipulation. This one caught my eye because it makes the character look badass, and ready to smash someone’s head! As such, I decided to place her in an arena. As for her opponent, let’s just say it’s someone who won’t make that mistake again.

The Lightning bolts are my own doing thanks to a tutorial I found on how to create lightning in Photoshop. I added a blue glow to the lightning bolts based on a photo I saw of Sailor Jupiter using Sparkling Wide Pressure, and to make the lightning look natural. The shadow was tough because I hadn’t made a shadow at that angle before. And I love how one of the bolts frames her body!

By the way if anyone decided to make a live action Sailor Moon movie, you better pick her to play Sailor Jupiter! I’ll see to it that Naoko Takeuchi herself makes that happen! Also, M. Night, stay away from this movie. Far away! Otherwise, the Senshi will punish you! (as will the fans)

I plan to do manipulations of all the inner senshi, because I’m more familiar with them.
