I was traveling in the cosmos and spotted something I had only heard about in Mushroom Kingdom lore. Mario had told me about the woman who lived there as well, and I wanted to meet her. I would brave the coldness of space to catch a glimpse of her. Lucky for me, I have access to a spacecraft, so looking for her was entirely possible.

I eventually found the Cosmic Observatory, right when it was under attack by monsters I hadn’t seen before. I landed nearby and jumped toward the monsters. “You guys picked the wrong day to get my attention,” I said as I drew my sword. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a horde of star shaped beings. They surrounded someone in a pale aqua dress. “Help us protect mama!” they shouted in unison. Like they had to tell me twice!

I cut down every single one of the monsters with one stroke of my blade, and they vanished in a cloud of dust upon collapsing to the ground. I chased them throughout the observatory, using the teleport pads to get around fast. Once I took out the last one, I returned to the ground floor, and approached the woman and her star children.

“You saved mama! Thank you!” they said.

They flew off around the place, and I got a chance to see this woman Mario told me about.

“Hello, young traveler,” she said with an echo in her voice. Her voice sounded so divine, like she was more than a princess. I bowed respectfully before her. “Thank you for helping us fight off those monsters. My name is Rosalina, the watcher of the cosmos.”

OMG, Rosalina is so gorgeous!! She’s easily the most beautiful character in the entire Mario franchise. I love her platinum blonde hair, her pale teal dress, and beautiful eyes, which sparkle like stardust. She’s also very tall, standing at about six and a half feet tall, maybe even taller. It’s a safe bet her legs go on for miles. Actually, make that light years. She should totally do some modeling in her down time. Imagine how many heads she’d turn from both men and women when she walked in the room wearing something to show off those seemingly endless legs of hers. She’s one head taller than Princess Peach, who herself is one head taller than Mario. In both cases, I’m counting their heels. She even looks attractive in the biker suit from the Mario Kart series.
She made her debut in Super Mario Galaxy, and is also playable in the Mario Kart series as well as Smash Bros and Mario 3D World. She was my favorite character to use in Mario Kart Wii, and fit perfectly in the Shooting Star bike. Her signature giggle ensured I’d have fun on the racetrack, and I love when she giggles. Her side taunt, where she poses and says “Mm-hmm!” is my favorite of her taunts in Smash Bros, which sounds even more satisfying when you’ve scored a knockout at the last second.

I was inspired to draw her after unlocking her in Mario 3D world. She jumps as high as Luigi, and can double jump with her spin attack if she doesn't have another powerup equipped. She can break levels wide open with this ability alone.
