I'm really loving Cutlass and Riptail, especially their aura together. Instantly love them. I just found this comic and read up till here, absolutely in love with your work. Wish you the best and look forward for more!

I had a question for you regarding the creation of your comic! How do you continue to draw pages without getting tired? I've tried so hard to write my own comics but when it comes to the drawing part I get so tired and frustrated with the angles and anatomy and etc... It takes forever for me to get just one page done. How do you tackle this obstacle? Is it an obstacle at all for you?

I do get tired! I'm not the best when it comes to managing work hours, so there's months when I don't draw at all because I tend to work till burnout. Unreliable schedule is the reason why I'm actually about thirty pages ahead of the ones I'm posting right now. Everyone manages their time and energy differently and it's something you gotta experiment with. For me, the hardest part is to start anything new (page, scene, changes to lighting and environment) from a scratch. I've found that once I have a tangible plan beforehand, it's way easier to tackle those steps. I loosely sketch up the whole chapter + write the dialogue before actually starting to refine and finish any pages. So when I get something done, I immediately know what to do next. I also find it easier to work on multiple pages of the same scene at the same time; definitely faster to work on the background of same palette when you get in the flow.
I guess my tip is to start very loose when it comes to planning pages. Make your characters blobs, check the composition and the flow of the page. Repeat for the next one. Come back to those loose blobs later and give them more form. For comics it's also important to pick a style that's not too time-consuming or pain to work with (goes with character designs too), because you'll be using that a lot. Charming and fast style is a lot better than slow and polished. Afterall, people are generally more interested in the story than the detail of that one bush in one of your panels.
Hope this helps! This is just my experience, but I guess some points are pretty universal.

This was a huge help!! You gave me a lot of solid answers! I think I definitely need to get used to drawing characters in a style that will be easy to accomplish quickly. Backgrounds are also gonna be a pain x.x But i think I'm definitely more equipped now! Thank you very very much!
And I'm very excited for the next pages of your comic~ π

When you notice Nero is gonna have the same two scars on the same side of the head just like the deer leader Volhos.
...suspicious much?
Might it mean Volhos was once the same like Nero, about the saving others, until something happened?

doeprince In reply to BUGHS-22 [2019-11-07 23:30:18 +0000 UTC]
I'd love to say it was intended but it was actually just my mistake, hehe. But due to many commenter speculations I decided Volhos got his old scars somewhat the same way as Nero did.

Joka kerta vaa paranee ja jΓ€nnitystΓ€ kertyy ettΓ€ mitΓ€pΓ€s seuraavaksi tapahtuu! TΓ€stΓ€ tulis kyl aiva ihana kirja ovo joku tumma taustanen jossa toi "Golden strike" teksti ois kultasella ja todella kalligrafian tyylinen ja viel pari kultasta lehtee siihe viereen.

Oooo, some insight into what the reputations of the herds are. Very interesting
Also, I have to say, the background of the last panel really jumps out at me, hehe
It has a lot of depth and mystery, and I suppose it's very aesthetic to me XD
