When I think of "flower power", I think of the calming effect a field of flowers can have. I wanted to convey that feeling of calm in my illustration by using pastel colors and a POC resting in the middle. The piece took 9 hours to complete, and I will have a speedpaint published soon!

I really love the feel of this piece! It feels like a perfect spring day with the sun shining and the smell of fresh, blooming flowers. I love all the different textures you included as well in the grass, her skirt, and even with the freckles on her skin. Her expression is wonderful and adds to the feeling of bliss this drawing portrays. One thing I think may help improve this piece would be to add more dark values around the character herself. I notice a lot of darker spots around and within the flowers, which almost pull my eye away from the character. Otherwise, there’s not much to say about it as it’s beautiful! Keep up the good work!
