In 1935 Hugges Aircraft Industries launched a nationwide campaign to promote the eldoradian version of the Greyhound bus: The Hybe, a fast heavier than air passenger aerodyne with extreme STOL capability. Exclusive photostories were published in popular eldoradian magazines like "Glance" or "Caleidoscope" to illustrate the great leap forward the new means of transport meant to aerial traffic on the transcontinental routes.

The centrefold shot above was taken on a penthouse balcony of the "Edvard Harper Condomium", an exclusive appartment complex at the popular west coast holiday resort Pachinko Beach, where the "Hybes" touched down just a five minute walk away from the Paxific Ocean. The nice young lady might be Kathryn Henceforth ("Airship Troopers"), Eldorados "favourite actress of the year 1933", and - at least for a while - one of Citizen Hugges'...err...muses.
