Description a Whale of a Time
I spend a lot of time on DA.
I feel it has been very influential to my growth as an artist. I have learned much.
Even on the days when I am lacking inspiration, there is bound to something I stumble upon that just blows my socks off, because it's just so damn brilliant.
When I eventually manage to pry myself away from the monitor, I am generally left with a consciousness that there is still much more room for personal improvement.

I have much to thank for the recent series of photographs I took of the Spring Tide 2008.

Even the little things that I have discovered through my DA addiction (sometimes from those that are far from popular) I do at times put into practice. I am so pleased they paid off.
I think the results speak for themselves, even to the the point of being awarded my 2nd DD.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their wonderful comments & support. My in-box is now overflowing.
I might not respond to everyone directly, but I do go through all the notes and try as much as possible to give your gallery a look, sometimes adding to my favourites aswell.

I am now even more determined to push myself to the edge. To constantly improve on my approach & delivery, all-be it photography, artwork or concept.
There is only this one life to live & I guess you could say, I am having a whale of a time doing it.

Still on the subject of waves, this photo was taken about the same time I captured this shot

I am pleased to report this photo is on the weekly shortlist for a National Geographic competition I entered.
You can show your support by casting your vote online.
The photo is included in the selection for week 3 - September

Better still, why not enter yourself, there is still time, or just browse through those photos selected - Some of them are truly amazing.
p.s. make sure you read the rules of entry first
