Description first off i'd like to say this has got to be the most chalenging coloring job i've done in a long while lol

I'm hoping it's what had in mind heh

so yeah anyway this is my half of an art trade with the deviant mentioned above though honestly I don't care if I get anything in return, I was feeling artistic and uninspired so I was happy to take up her offer hehe

hehe ^^ I tend to use a glitter effect.. it's not exactly opal.. just the closest description I can find... the shimmer is much more like somebody sprinkled glitter on his wings, though it's not quite like that... it just glitters all colors of the rainbow depending on how the light hits it, though the blue irridescences causes it to show up predominately as blue.
If that makes sense... it's hard to describe how he looks! 00 XD

they way you describe it makes it seem more like a soft irridescent shine. There's nothing wrong with challenging my coloring abilities hehe, It makes it fun.

yeah that's about it. ^^ glittery... like fine glittery! Sometimes when traditionally coloring him I'd use glitter to get the shine, though it never showed up in the scans lol

mrowl! that's one of the hottest images of that character I've ever seen!!!! excellent job on his wings! he's got such a...unique/interesting color scheme...I know, I've tried drawing him too heh ^^ great job hun! awesome pose too

You did the coloring awesomely... I love the wings, It couls use a bit contrast since it's now just almost all dark, but really nicely done...

it's too dark for you? must be your monitor...mine makes it seem too pale >.< and I colored it on my my room mates computer and it looked just right...IO hate how things look so different on different computers.

OMG!!! It's AMAZING! I love how you did his hair and wings! and his expression and the belts . . . He's so sexy! XD lol! Well, his wings dont' look exactly opal . . . you know the way Opal shimmers and glitters in the light? That's what his wings do! ^^ I LOVE the effect on his wings though! ^^
