This quite finished yet...I've put it up to get some opinions (hopefully) before I round it off.Thought it was about time I did some "proper" fantasy, so I gave my little elf guy some non-revealing clothes and a friend, and put them somewhere pretty...
I'll finish it soon...promise!

It's beautiful! I love the way that the light seems to reflect off the figures, and the detail in the feathers, etc. Is it a baby griffon, or something else? (I just thought it may be since there is a little elf next to it, but I don't know my fairy tales as well as I should, I guess) Anyhoo, keep up the great work, and the colors are amazing!

This is a wonderful drawing. I love the way they look so perfectly together. Nothing better than a red-haired elf guy and a pretty gryphon. ^___^ You always do such lovely art and I really admire all the pretty elf boys here and felt it would be good to finally leave a comment on my favorite of them all. Phwee~ lovely work with the coloured pencils, and i'm always into elf boys ~.^ Adorable little griffin too... Mebbe in the finished version you should do a little bit more with the sky?? I think it'd look a bit more balanced. Lovely piece tho' it'll be great to see it finished.

What a lovely picture! You have some serious skills with traditional media~ O_O; I love the hues you used in the sky and the yellow highlights on the griffin. Excellent!
