From the comic turned animated series "Static Shock". A Kids WB favorite of mine.This piece is dedicated to Dwayne McDuffie, the creator of the character. Today marks his birthday. And tomorrow marks the anniversary of his death.

This show didn't last long enough. Though, I was glad to see this character when the Justice League traveled to the future.

Oh god, this show.
I used to watch it when I was little on a tv the size of a match box, the ungodly hours I'd wake just to catch it along with the whole Saturday morning line up.
Even back then I thought some of the characters were racist but what did I know, I was like seven.

AW YEAH. I was TOTALLY waiting for this one. Static is my favorite DC teenage superhero. And I totally love the show. When I found out that they put him in the main DC universe, I FLIPPED.
Also, I'm glad you dedicated the pic to Mr. McDuffie. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't even HAVE Static.
