I couldn't decide which of the Balbians to pick, so all four of them join the brawl.

The Balbians was a simple gag strip about four small figurines who were in a kid's room with no one else to play with but themselves, and they often didn't get along. From clockwise is Sasha, the ditzy girl who the others fight over; Nick, a jerk who picks on the other two boys; Andrew, who's the smartest (and very meta); and Steve, the hapless, creepy looking loser.

The Balbians being the smallest characters in the roster, have to work together to fight, thus playing similar to the Ice Climbers or Pikmin & Olimar from Smash Bros. Sasha keeps the group together, Nick lays down the punches, Andrew coordinates the more strategic moves, and Steve is used as a blunt weapon or a shield.

The Balbians was the webcomic I made before Conroy, and based on poorly drawn characters I drew a lot back in high school. They also appeared in the first comic strips I ever got published, back in the high school newspaper. You can read the strips from the webcomic here: [link]
