I like the way you've placed the main subject matter off-centre to create more of a balance and make it more effective as well, in a sense. You could have moved the camera more to the left though, perhaps... but it's not that bad.
I feel as if the framing is a bit tight, but at the same time, it's quite cool how we're pretty close-up to it, as we get to see more of the detail.
The colours complement each other effectively and I like the way the lighting comes into play in terms of influencing the atmosphere and mood...
It feels intimate, but also neutral, in a sense.

Boooo for exams. I don't have to do them anymore, thank god. I chose a BTEC course instead of a straight A level, so grades are all coursework based. 
I'm okay thank you, just so tired and upset with this awful internet speed I'm getting. We're in the middle of changing over our internet provider, so I'm getting like, 0.09mbps download speeds. It's ridiculous. Uploading things to dA just isn't even work attempting at the moment. It's a nightmare looking at people's work too because the pictures aren't loading properly

That's interesting... I've heard of BTEC, but eh. I think I'd rather do coursework than exams, but... will BTEC get you through to what you want to be and such?

At the end of my GCSEs, we moved house and switched internet providers at the same time, so... we had to ring them up and wait and eventually I had to go on holiday for over a month and only got internet when I came back from that. >.<
That really sucks, though. It's funny how we take these things for granted, almost. =/

Yeah, with a BTEC course, you get a qualification equivalent to 3 A levels.

I'm just studying music at the moment, but I'm thinking of moving onto a photography course next year. Do you think I'd be good enough to get in? We don't get study leave on BTEC courses as you don't do exams or anything xD

I got my interview for the photography course at college, it takes place next wednesday at 4:30pm
I don't have a pro camera as such, although the one I'm using is fairly decent (Fujifilm Finepix S1700) Saving up for a Canon EOS 1000D though

There's a new version? Cool. I might look into it. Depends on how expensive it is though, I'm only on £5 an hour at work and at most at the moment, I'm only working 2 8hr days and a Saturday which is usually 4 hours.

I don't need it til like, September and the only things I pay for are travel, food and my phone contract bill :L On a good week, I usually come out with about £100, so I think it's achievable over the summer
Also, I had my photography interview at college today. I got a place! The course leader really liked my prints and thinks I'll do well to be on the course. We're being set a task to do over the summer, and the end product of that product is gonna be on show at an exhibition in London in October! Happy days!

Definitely... you should just save up and buy a good one as 1000D is ... a beginners, almost. You should get the 500D or whatever, at least.

I would like a Canon 500D, but it'll a little bit out of my reach, I have to save for a new laptop too because mine's on the verge of dying. Might be able to stretch for a 1100D though?

If that was the case, though, I'd say buy the 1000D and then save up for the lenses, because bodies can grow old and die, but lenses should still be there, if that makes sense?
Get some good lenses you can transfer bodies on and stuff.
