I got Whiscash a very long time ago from the Pokemon Center in New York, U.S.A. They are increadibly hard to find now and usually go for about $150.00.

That hurts... Are they still in that Pokemon Center? What did they cost there? I live in the Netherlands, so no Pokemon Center there, sadly... And yeah, I recently found one for 160 dollar on Ebay...

Do you know if there's any way to get one for a decent prize?

No, the Pokemon Center here in the U.S. was shut down. Unfortunately they really are one of the hardest Pokemon plush to find. I have absolutely no idea where to find one for sale, I occasionally see them pop up for sale but it doesn't happen very often. :T

I wouldn't recommend paying THAT MUCH for him but if you really do need him it may be your only option. They do occasionally come up for sale/auction in the Pokemon collectors community I belong to on Livejournal. A lot cheaper too, but then again they rarely appear.

Well, what community? The pokemon collectors thing you often find when looking for Pokemon toys/plushies on Google? Most posts there I find are old, so that's irrelevant...

Yes it's still active, you need to make an account on LiveJournal first, then "join" the community, you should be accepted within a week or less. But yes a lot of people will see it and it may be a really good option for you. If you have any questions send me a message ok?

I actually found one for 100 dollar and 15 dollar added for shipping costs to the Netherlands, what do you think of that prize? It's at least better than 150...

Now, my BFF wants to pay half of it as a birthday gift for me, but I don't feel right about that, it would make me feel like a selfish jerk if I'd take that.

She's my BFF and I really love her (friendshippy, not romantically), and I don't feel like I can take that amount of money from her, it would make me feel really guilty. I'm grateful that she offers it, but still... I love giving and making people happy, but I'm horrible at taking gifts...
