Description
The sun veiled behind the clouds of grayYou gaze up at the sky that seems to melt
Into endless pouring rain
And you reminisce of that day
When the sun vanished eternally
Laying you in a veracity of haze
Suddenly, the sky drips crimson
What’s going on?
You’re trapped within mystification
Slow rhythm of pattering raindrops of scarlet
Rap upon the gray cement
A reflection within a pool of water
Drips the memories that you’d always dread
Panic gradually increases with bother
Filling your mind with delusions
What more of sanity is left in this world?
All you feel is a sense of desertion
That you could never honestly accept
In this dimmed, aimless trail
Drowning you in the tears that you’ve wept
And now, all you can see is shading red
You fall onto your knees
Despite the splash of icy, red water on your skin
You’re unable to face this horrible dream
But it’s a nightmare of realism
That you can’t seem to win
You shut your eyes and count to three
Perhaps then, actuality will soon recover back to normal
One…two…three…
You open your eyes
To gaze upon the sky once again
And just as you’d desired
No more crimson rain has been sent.

Wow, this is really great. I was looking for a piece I'd got a glance of and had shut the window on by accident and I found this instead. I'm glad I shut that window now.
