Great! It really shows the mood of the Roche path - Darkness, despair, rain and loads of hard-boiled dialologue.
Anyway, Vernon easily became my favourite character in the game.

I really like it, though, in my opinion, their faces should be more rough - especially Roche's. But he's my favorite character, so I might be just griping. 
I hope Roche will make an appearance in Witcher 3, which will be probably out in 2014.

Might I make a suggestion? If you could still improve on this piece, I think you should make their faces a little more rugged. Unless, of course, your style would like to maintain a clean detail of the face?

I read it quite late, even if I'm fantasy fan and everyone call this series one of things we have to be proud of. Style, humour and connections with popular fairytales in dark version made me go through all books in less than two weeks XD

Roche's face looks a bit too smooth. If I remember, they have relatively lined/scarred faces. Iorveth (the one-eyed elf) has comparatively smooth skin because he's an Elf.
