Probably the entire Dead Space team is twisted. I read that the team looked at car crash victim photos to get an idea of what the necromorphs would look like.

Oh my God, that's the same thing I said to my GameSpot friends. In essence, Dead Space was everything RE4 WASN'T. You could move while shooting, there's a better protagonist, and ... it's actually horror. Zing!
