Explanation for this one.Mostly focusing on Conbat:
He's a prototype for a new design I'm planning for all future Conbats made by me. I'd been doodling the concept for the longest time and finally realized that I should just go ahead and make a tiny one of felt and see how it turned out. It turned out AWESOME. I love 'im so much. He's only about 2 or 3 inches, which is similar to that of a real vampire bat, so it makes me all geekily happy. I may sell some small ones in addition to larger ones if anyone's interested.
Explanation for the bottom right image:
I'd already sewed on Claudius' head when I realized he needed more stuffing. I was forced to stab him in the chest (Which was not at all fun. It made me so sad.), and stuff him a bit more. I was being goofy and made a sad lil chest-burster out of polyfil.

If you were up to it, you could have cut him open a bit more then sewed him back together in the y-shape. I think Tessa said that he had those stitches.

Aaah, the Y incision. Maybe on the next one. The X-acto knife I took to him wasn't very kind to the fabric. I'd have to do it before he was stuffed, me thinks.

Bleh! I hate not having time. That's how things are looking for me. I've got some classes this summer and I'll be starting another job 3 days a week. I keep looking ahead and thinking, "Oh you poor thing. You won't have time to make anything until you graduate next May...if you graduate next May." Ugh. College.

Lucky. I'm so sick of high school. I just want to go and learn the business and culinary things I need to know so I can go and try to work towards my goal of a pastry shop

They will. I'm just freaking out because of the papers I have to write and exams I have to study for. Ha ha. I'm a skilled procrastinator, though, so I bring it all upon myself. I mean, can you tell? Spending all last weekend sewing and not even thinking about starting my research. In my defense, I was listening to an audiobook of something I had to read for class while I was making everything...but still. Uuugh.
Culinary stuff sounds so much more fun than being an English major. I've been meddling with makeup in preparation for Dragon*Con, and I've felt like I could just drop everything now and run off to makeup school.
