I can't believe I didn't comment on this earlier I guess it was before I came on dA. Wonderful picture of John! Shading is amazing and I love his eyes! I hope you get to draw more pictures of Sheppard soon.

The way so much of the head is cut off gives it a really abstract feel. You could do some interesting things with that. At first, I thought there was another face on the other side. That would have been interesting.

Well, the movie came out in 1994, three years later Stargate SG-1 started. SG-1 is in it's 9th season, while Stargate Atlantis only started last year and is in its 2nd season.
Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) got the ball rolling with the shows and it's been super popular.

The Spellsword. I might make it something more interesting sounding though- something like The Flame and the Sword, or some such thing. I know that I don't want to sound generic, though.

Well, it's about a spellsword- a magician who decides to learn to use a sword- and the great controversy thus resulting, leading to his travels across teh nations, and ultimately, to the downfall of and empire. And that's only a small part of the stories I have thought up. That's on one world; I have several others I have thought up stories and histories for.
