Hi Jade, nice to see you here and thank you for your kind words. Joining contests is the best way to learn and improve, and I'm actually growing up with the contests. So I do believe that you'll be better and better as long as you paint frequently and getting around to learn. yes, your enchanted moment was in my deviant watch for the digital art fantasy group, and i was quite excited to see your portfolio here.
I went to school for graphic design but never found a job in my area for my degree, due to the small rural area i live in. Just isn't a demand for it in farming country i guess.
Anyway, so i kinda gave up a bit on working too much in graphics, and when i got the itch to start doing it again, oh boy did Adobe change things up. 
Anyway, nice to see your stuff here. I'll likely be adding you to my watch list here.

that's nice to know something about you behind the contests. My job is not related to Graphic design but that's my love and what I learned when I was a kid. I though that my life turned into the other way, separated from what I dreamed for, but yes, Adobe gave me the second chance. Doing art is my own way to keep faith in my boring daily work.

i sell flooring. i couldn't be further from the "graphic design" part of my education. i should have majored in business.
and it had been a good 7 years since i worked seriously with photoshop. there are so many tools and fun things to mess with that weren't there when i was in school. its amazing.

you remind me solkee in Pxleyes, he's fixing the machines but he does Photoshop very well. No matter what your job is, making art can be a part of your life. Now you're able to do what you like, so be happy with that
