This is a little different for me, but I wanted to draw something scary. So after doing some research on vampire legends I thought I'd try my hand at something with a vampire and his possible soon-to-be-victim in a creepy castle. Particularly I was influenced by myths of Romanian Strigoi which were said to have red hair and blue eyes. I also wanted to try and do something with lighting and shadows, but... eh... Ah well.This WAS meant to be something from a story I'm planning, but it doesn't look anything like how I picture that story so it's just a stand-alone piece of art. Enjoy.

The scene is pretty classic; a vampire pursuing a helpless maiden. And you stayed true to the original myth of the Strigoi, too!
