Task 7 for , Show your character facing their greatest fear
Ioana is a very honest and law abiding person because, deep down, she's afraid of getting into trouble.
This is a deep seeded fear due to the fact that getting in trouble at home had major consequences and she HATED even the thought of her mother getting angry at her. This fear has transferred to any body of authority, so when Jovian gets them into this situation it's her worst fear come to light.
Probably somewhere deep down she's thinking not so much about what the government is going to do (which is probably pretty bad) but what her MOTHER might think
Jovian is a shadow in this because not only does she not believe his assurances but he's mostly the reason this is happening, so he's part of the problem and she's basically on her own in her opinion at this moment and she's feeling very terrified.
Thankfully she discovers that she's not only NOT alone, but both Jovian AND The Lady are willing to go to great lengths to keep their pilot safe.
On another note, I'm very proud of that chair design

That chair does look elaborate... I think a lot of us had this drilled into our psyche that we shouldn't cause trouble... not even a tiny bit... I guess this mentality makes us think getting into trouble can be like a minefield... Can Jovian be trusted?

ow sjees...I can imagine how harsh this fear is. All the time being afraid to do something wrong. Just walking on your toes all your life.
And not even for the government but for your mom? I hope she wil be able to face her fear. Because this is no way of living at all. People will walk over you when they know you are like this. I am sorry for Ioana. Though her fear is strong inside this one. Nice work c:

Jeah I understand in some way. Though I think the government can destroy your life ^^' your mom not so much if you keep a distance.
It's a tough thing to go true. Especially if you don't realise there are worse things than your mom who will become angry at you.

First things first: I hope Ioana is able to break ties with her mother :') all the people who treat her unfairly - and to be honest, though I wish she and the Lady could fly through space for as long as they want, I also direly wish for Jovian to actively earn Ioana's trust before he gets to keep her around. :') She deserves some proper people or sentient space ship who have got her back (which I know Jovian will eventually become, and currently also is, as depicted in this picture, but still :'))

I can't help but relate to Ioana on this one.
It dosen't help but make it worse if the mother is abusive to Ioana. I'm rooting for Jovian and The Lady. They can save her from this tragedy.

Oh man the idea of Ioana's fear being started by her mother and then extending to any body of authority feels very realistic, and having it all tied back to what her mother might think hits super hard. I adore hearing about characters' motivations about things, and I feel like I can really understand Ioana's fear driving certain actions of hers, and I really love how it all ties together!

Oh man, that would be a horrifying ordeal for Ioana to go through! You did a fantastic job capturing her fear here with her body lanaguage and expression! I also love the chair design here! It's a such a creative and awesome design and the peacock colours are beautifully arranged!
