For some reason I'd been putting off uploading this for months, maybe just being selfish?? :L

But anyway, here is my main protagonist character for a graphic novel I've been planning for years and years, it constantly changes and develops, so its actually moving away from what I first imagined it as, but I can tell you thats for the best
I hope, if I succeed in becoming a Graphic Novelist and concept artist, I'll be able to make my idea and dream come to life for everyone.
Pfffft, even if I don't get some miraculous break or where I want to be in the art world, I'll still make this :L

But anyway, major MAJOR design vamp because well.....her previous design was amazingly crap-tacular and a bit of a Batman wannabe

And I love this design and idea so much more, I spent so freaking long on it ;-;
It finally feels like this is her, like shes 'grown' into this.

Some quick facts about her ((not too much, most of my ideas are going to be kept under wraps for now ))
- she is, as her costume suggests a vigilante or 'superhero' albeit a reluctant one....
- she is not particularly skilled in fighting 'fist to fist' and shes also pretty useless with guns. So her main fighting attributes and skills rely on her weapons (which you can see sketched at the side), the dagger tail chain, and her vicious elbow blades (their design still isn't definite yet, I'm having trouble working out the mechanism which allows them to become 'unsheathed' and retract again.)
- 'DragonGirl' is the name of her vigilante persona

Still haven't really got a clue as to her colour scheme or even her 'true' name yet :L

there were other sketches on this page, but they were just some pose practices, might try some more defined ones another time.

Also, another random fact, my DA name, as many people think, was not intentionally created to show my love for dragons, (although it is equally as fitting for that reason) , it is named after this vigilante character here, her concept has been in my mind since....god knows when xD
