Description
As some of you may recognise, I posted this piece a while ago in a status update when explaining my situation with my drawing programs.
At the time I got some feedback and some of y'all were very encouraging. I didn't think that I would ever go back and finish this because there were alot of things that I didn't like about it. However, today I wanted to draw and was surfing through the hundreds of saved ref pictures and came across the original ref for this piece. I really do like the pose so I opened up the unfinished file and started working. I think I put in another 2hrs 30min to fix and finish it. Now I am much happier with the results and for that reason I share it here with you guys!

Story:
When Shadow first becomes an official hero she associates mostly with Batman and the rest of the BatFamily. Because of that and her tendency not to be seen or heard by people while on patrol, many members of the JL were not familiar with her. So when she first began assisting with missions and being present on the watch tower she was often on her own. Some of the other members wondered about if she could be trusted and who she was, and since she nor Batman ever went into detail about anything she remained a mystery.

Shadow didn't tend to spend a lot of time on the watchtower and since she was more of an honorary member it took a long time before the other heroes began to interact with her. Shadow was always careful to seem confident and comfortable, even though it wasn't always true. She walked and moved as if she owned the place which she would come to realise was also a contributing factor as to why people had kept their distance. Apparently she didn't seem to have a super approachable demeanor.

When they finally did they came to realise that she was actually quite fun to be around. She was welcomed more and invited along to activities outside of missions. And although Shadow isn't much of a party person she occasionally tagged along for the fun.
