And phew! With that most of the work for Lapras is done! Just need to add a few more details, like the teeth to the cage skirt and a few ribbon details, but otherwise, it’s done!!!

I started this back in mid November. This costume was one of my most ambitious in terms of textile creation. There's a ton of hand-dye work, painting, applique, and piecing work to this dress. I also utilized Spoonflower to print the fabric for the bustle pillow and the floral pattern on the arm bands. The painting on the taffeta was all done by hand over about three weeks.
