Oh gosh guys I'm sorry I really am!

I didn't mean to do this to Doctor Whooves, buuuut, well, I'd already drawn him.... so let's just say this is his non-TimeLord non-amazing jerky clone counterpart or something.

The point of this is how I imagine one of these chrysalises work. Because I don't think they're just for imprisonment, I think they're created for full transformation.

Stage 1-This is just a couple days after imprisonment. Tendrils begin to form inside the chrysalis and attach themselves to the victim. This stage would be the last chance for a possible rescue.

Stage 2-These tendrils begin to integrate themselves into the victims nervous system to change them from the inside out. The subject begins to feel some basic changeling instincts. A horn and wings begin to grow. If removed from the process now, the victim would die.

Stage 3-The victim's original body is mostly replaced. They may remember some of their original identity, but not much. Holes appear, and the wings and horn are almost formed. The outer shell is still soft.

Stage 4-The process is almost complete. All original identity is lost. The new changeling is hungry, and ready to join the hive-mind. In a few days, it will hatch and act like a normal changeling.

Jeeze, this is dark. I don't know what's up, I've been in the mood for some dark artistic expression lately. I'm probably just getting it out of my system before Christmas art. Tolerate me just a liiiiitle longer folks, and then I'll draw something REALLY cheery!
