So, it was pretty much a forgone conclusion that I was going to love Epic Mickey just because it included Oswald. I knew about Oswald's story long before this game from my own Disney fan-love, so I was super-excited to see him come back this way.As I was playing the game, though, it struck me how much Oswald reminded me of Max from Sam and Max. Beyond the obvious physical similarities (they're both heavily stylized cartoon rabbits, it's not shocking that they look similar) they both have the air of a trouble maker (though Oswald is more "mischievous" and Max is more "borderline felon").
So, this isn't really head-canon, I just thought it was kind of funny. I did this kind of on a whim, it took all of ten minutes to draw (I inked it with a brush pen!) and all of another ten minutes to color, so it probably shouldn't be in the gallery proper, but what the hell, it's been a while since I put anything here, so I hope it amuses a bit.
...Max looks kind of weird, though. I guess this is why I don't draw things stylized...'cuz I can't.

OR the look on Oswald and Mickey's faces when I stumbled into our apartment drunk wearing a bra, no shirt, no jeans, a condom still on my dick (Kept my wallet at the house and only took enough for the booze, pot, smokes, motel room, and hooker (about 5 grand)), my underwear, my sneakers and socks, reeking of Pot, Smoke, Condom Lube, Silicone, Old bed sheet, Bad mints, Old must, Lades deoderant, Beer, Top shelf tequila, Bottom shelf Whiskey, Scotch, Bourbon, Rum, wine, and cheap-ass cologne I got from Scrooge McDuck as a chrismas gift. I had a cigarette in my mouth, a half empty 2 liter of Diet Coke in one hand, and a 3/4 empty bottle of Disaronno in the other.

I envy you, I want this game so badly!! I'm so glad to see the old Disney characters getting some well-deserved attention, after Kingdom Hearts 2 and the Timeless River stage I had a feeling they'd bring all the old characters back. I especially love how Epic Mickey has old retired things from the amusement park, *o* ah I want this game even just for the history lesson!!

Seriously though, the game was awesome. It took me less than a week to burn through it, I really do recommend it to all fans of Disney and animation history. I liked the G4TV description, it's a love letter to all the old cartoons. And it really is!

If that doesn't work and you're still curious, you can hit "next entry" from part one and it should go there. HOWEVER, it all pretty moot, since the first link gave most of my thoughts on the game. Part 2 was just my thoughts after finishing it (which were pretty much just YAYAWESOME! 
I really loved that G4 review though. I liked that someone called the reviewer out in the comments for mentioning the game had flaws and yet giving it a perfect score. The reviewer just replied that if he thought the flaws were a detriment to the game, then the score would reflect it - which is pretty much how I saw it too.
I will be crossing my fingers that you get a copy, because I thought it was pretty awesome, and would love to have someone to geek out with.

I asked for a lot of awesome things for Christmas, haha. We'll see if I get any, my Christmas lists are generally me coming up with every tiny little thing I can think of that I wouldn't mind having.
