Thank you! It's funny but I thought I'd ruined this with the inks (the original sketchy pencils looked good) but then when I shaded in pencil over the inks it somehow rescued the whole picture.

Though I know wot you mean about the creative juices it sucks at times.
I just wish I had a better teacher when I was in school, then I wouldet have stopped for as long as I did,as it is I lack in places now.

Thanks! Whilst I like using traditional media, I do love what Photoshop can do! Especially the simple yet surprisingly effective things, like adding a texture to a sketch/background. It's well worth the learning time. And these days all the free tutorials around makes it even easier (using the old-fashioned trial-and-error learning took me a long time).
